Muhammad Ali Center Event
Monday, November 6, 2017: 7:00 - 10:00pm
NODA Conference Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Muhammad Ali Center, a multicultural center with an award-winning museum dedicated to the life of Muhammad Ali. The Center museum captures the inspiration derived from the story of Muhammad Ali’s incredible life and the six core principles that have fueled his journey.

The mission of the Muhammad Ali Center is to preserve and share the legacy and ideals of Muhammad Ali, to promote respect, hope, and understanding, and to inspire adults and children everywhere to be as great as they can be. In its 11-year history, the Center has created programs that exemplify the principles of Muhammad Ali and the mission of the Center. Over the past decade, the Center has developed impactful programming serving children and adults, reaching people of all cultures, nationalities, ages, and geographic areas.

Inspiration is Ali’s gift, and his six core principles mark his true legacy—a legacy that has the power to live on, beyond the man, and beyond the walls of the Center.

Volunteer Opportunities

WaterStep is a local organization that collects used shoes to fund water treatment projects across the globe to provide clean and safe water to communities. NODA encourages members to bring one (or more) pair of used shoes to donate to WaterStep.

Please visit the WaterStep website for more information about their organization and projects.

The Mascot Roundup
The Mascot Roundup is NODA's reoccurring service project where conference attendees bring their institution's mascot to donate to a local women's shelter or children's hospital. Please bring one of your institution's mascots or any new stuffed animal to donate to a local organization.
Leave a Scarf
Louisville, KY is one of the most caring cities in America and it shows! During the colder months of the year, community members leave scarves around street lights and poles for the homeless to help keep them warm. Please bring a scarf with you and place so
mewhere downtown as you explore and enjoy Louisville.
