The mission of the Muhammad Ali Center is to preserve and share the legacy and ideals of Muhammad Ali, to promote respect, hope, and understanding, and to inspire adults and children everywhere to be as great as they can be. In its 11-year history, the Center has created programs that exemplify the principles of Muhammad Ali and the mission of the Center. Over the past decade, the Center has developed impactful programming serving children and adults, reaching people of all cultures, nationalities, ages, and geographic areas.

Promoting a Diverse & Inclusive Environment: A Space to Advocate Change
Monday, November 6 & Tuesday, November 7, 2017: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

NODA's core values state, "We are an inclusive community of practitioners and scholars, building, fostering, and shaing an environment that promotes connections of people and ideas for peer-to-peer learning." It's alarming to many of us to hear our political leaders make disparaging comments and pass legislation that is directly against this core belief. Please take at least 10 minutes of your conference experience to learn how you can take action and let our representatives understand the importance of diversity and inclusion to our Association, on your campus, and to you personally. To initiate change, we must give voice to the issues and concerns of others that may otherwise not be acknowledged. This space may also be used to have a conversation with a colleague or to share ideas around topics of diversity and inclusion.

Dear World Live is an interactive, award-winning event that explores the subtle and powerful connections between students, faculty, staff, and peers. WIth Dear World, we will be taking portraits throughout the conference, culminating in a group of photos and stories that celebrate the diversity, energy, and enthusiasm of NODA.

Leave a Scarf
Louisville, KY is one of the most caring cities in America and it shows! During the colder months of the year, community members leave scarves around street lights and poles for the homeless to help keep them warm. Please bring a scarf with you and place so
mewhere downtown as you explore and enjoy Louisville.
